Analytics only with consent

No text storage outside your device

No API key collection

1. Text processing

Refine processes text locally on your Mac by default. If you enable a cloud provider, text is sent only for the request you explicitly run.

2. Stored data

Refine history and clipboard entries are stored locally on your device. Refine does not sync this data to Refine-owned servers.

3. API keys

Your OpenAI and Anthropic API keys stay on your device. Refine does not collect, store, or sell your keys.

4. Analytics

Refine may use PostHog analytics in the app and on the marketing website if you explicitly grant consent. If you reject or disable consent, analytics tracking remains disabled.
